4/4/23 Brown Mountain - s2e7
I loosely based the composition of this painting on Bob's 'Brown Mountain'. I just looked at Bob's final result and created my rendition without using Bob's tutorial at all.
I have come to realize that when I paint mountains, they all seem to pop out of 1 mountain base. I need to do a better job with peaks in the background and separate mountains. I'll start working on that for sure.
Also in hindsight, this mountain could have used more tones of gray as I painted it.
Overall I think I did a fair job with each of the elements of the painting, although none stand out as exceptional to my eye.
On to the next as they say ... who is they? LOL

Your mountain looks so 3D, very nice! I like the color on it.. too much grey it might not be brown mountain anymore lol
