I was lurking at this one for a few weeks because of the mountains. I really had had a great time creating them on my canvas. Bob’s colors were a little too vibrant for me. I used more toned down/nature like colors.

Just a few small details… I added a little path from the bg tree line to the pond. I added some sticks on the left side.

Looks better the way you have chosen the colors. Much better than Bobs. You paint so much. It is amazing.

I am glad you dig my colors Tom! The more I paint now, the more I want to go with nature’s colors. I get that Bob had to be brighter for TV. But even in the book, this one was way to flamboyant. Also, I don’t like to tone down my colors with liquid white. The colors go more pastel tones and that’s not how I see autumn scene. Unless that’s (pastel) the subject of painting. Again, thank you Tom! 😀
