Day 2 Seascape Fundamental

We did this one today. I already have done it. I like my previous version better BUT, I did this one in less than half the time of my 1st version and did it according to the real Bob Ross technique.

We’ve learned how to do the highlights on the foam with a filbert instead of the fan brush and finally learned how to “squeegee” properly the waterline (light blue line) with the knife.

Tomorrow, we’re doing “Ken’s beach” (Ken & Barbie colors). A creation of Doug. Very pastel-ish seascape.

A beauty of a wave Nancy!Love it..Cheers P.

Thank you my friend! 🇩🇪😎

Awww! 🥹 Thank you so much Bob! Our great master used to say "talent is a pursued interest". And he was so right. I can't get enough of painting. By doing lots of paintings, scraping off what I didn't like and redoing it until is was right, doing other artists tutorials, learning something valuable at each composition and having a blast doing so, you have no choice but to become better and better every time. I also listen to Bob carefully on how to load the paint brush, how much pressure to put on the canvas, how he holds his brushes, etc, you will def accelerate the learning process lots.

Grazie Pietro! If you read this, I have done a little something special for you on few paintings back... Check out "Through the window". 😉

Oh those little things you can't learn from tv. Great work.

Very pretty N!

Another beauty from a wonderful artist! Love it!

very pretty

I love the colors in this version, now I want to re-try this one!

Perfection Nancy :)

Well say Tomi! In person, we go next to the teacher and can see every brush strokes. So much more precision on how to go about things! I am really loving it!

Thank you very much B, Sandy and Jeff! 🥰

The colors are stunning indeed Jessie! I toned them down quite a bit as far as the sky but kept the ocean color very bold. I kinda like that contrast.

Thank you Tony!

You have painted a lovely painting Nancy. I especially love your waves and your birds. Well done, cheers
