Brown Mountain

rtparsjr 09 Nov 2023

It seems like I take a step forward and then one back. This harkens back to one of the first paintings I ever did… I thought I would have learned something more by now.

Hey Bob, i think its a big step forward. You can be proud. Super work.👍🏼🇩🇪greetings from germany

Thanks Dirk! I visited Germany on business a few years back. I loved it there. The scenery is amazing. I wish I could have spent more time there and didn’t have to work while there.

If you come to Germany again, let me know. The Ruhr area in particular has many facets. Characterized by industry but still very green. 👊🏼🇩🇪

This looks so good Bob!!! Great job! Love your colors. The perspective is spot on!!

This good RT. Don't be too hard on yourself. I've been doing this sine February and still make awful paintings. We all have good and bad days.

Really beautiful painting with awesome mountains!

Thank you all. I love to learn and painting is full of opportunity! Every video, every book, every community painting I study, I learn something new. Yesterday in a Bob video he talked about how the brush he uses in the clouds is a super soft blender brush! Well dang I didn’t do half bad using the 2” background brush but I can’t wait to try his 2” blender brush. Ordered on up from Jerry’s Art. Can wait to try it out.

Well painted Bob, cheers

Brown mountains are tougher than snow mountains in my opinion. Keep at it bud.

Thanks everyone!
