This is fantastic. The rocks & trees are so good. And that background ocean color and wave texture is perfection.

Thank you very much for your kind words! I think this is one of my best ones so far and size of canvas 18*24 makes it way easier to paint as you don't need to suffer to squeeze things to the small canvas. I only hope that I need to make black canvas myself rather than buying it will be cheaper. One of the improvements I think I need is sky blending on the bottom of the clouds not to have them like cotton balls.

This is amazing!!!

Thank you!

Beautiful! As a giving recommendation, I find using a sponge brush for clouds works well for blending and realism. Then you can also layer the paint of the clouds much easier. Hope that helps!

Thanks JoJo! Those clouds look like cotton and it was very interesting to paint. I wish at that time I could see issues right away rather then being absorbed by following tutorial! Black canvas was pure magic!

I also love that you can make your own black canvas or buy them all ready.

Love the colour pop and the cloud formations and the amazing waves. Its all over really beautiful! And what colour did you use in the foreground for the sand? It doesnt have the same tone as Bobs vandyke brown? I love it!

I never used Bob Ross brand paints. This is Winsor and newton brand ( I had artistic, winton, water mixable) but do not remember what in particular it was. However if you say it was supposed to be VDB I think this was artistic W&N.
