I like it ..its really good... I don't think it is too wide at all. Love the trees on the right of the foreground.. The only thing to my eye is the first bend in the river looks quite steep, but it looks good anyway... more gouache !
@David - thank you very much! Thanks for pointing that first bend. This is I think the source of the problem as it messes perspective giving the sense that river is wider in the distance. I was looking and could not see it. Thanks a lot! All my attention was taken away by the fight with the value that I forgot about perspective.
