This is my version of Valley View, reposted with some additions. I originally had trouble with the reflections, so I had a lot of blank space left in the foreground. I decided to practice my shrubbery and grasses to try to balance out the perspective. I bravely tried to lay in a path but wasn't happy with it, so I added some rocks on it. That was a great exercise for me; I really enjoyed painting them! Much happier (now I can stop fussing); will move on to my next painting-a welcome winter scene to help me daydream of cooler days!
Thank you Cronenberg89 😌
Love that rock work !
Great job. The rocks are amazing!
Thank you so much Nobodyhome and Tom0779. It was my first time painting rocks like that and I couldn’t believe how much fun they were to shape and highlight!
Your mountains and evergreens are fantastic! Great job of going out of your comfort zone and adding in the path (which you covered)! Overall, really nice job.
Thanks so much Officerharbin!
