A very difficult painting with a lot of preparation needed. First a colored gesso underlayer, then a black gesso underlayer for the trees and bushes and finally with oil the painting. This was my third try on this one, but this is the first one I can live with a bit. Very soon too much paint was used and that resulted in loosing the underlayer. Falls are always difficult in my opinion, especially a big one on the foreground. I did it on canvas panel of 30 x 24 cm.
