I painted with my mom and her best friend today! Her best friend is very interested in starting oil painting with Bob so I was happy to help them experience it. I was happy with most of the elements of my painting, though the cabin gave me a couple fits.
The brown/ deciduous tree on the left side is one of my favorite elements. Bushes have vexed me forever but they’re improving. I would like to create more variation in value of the evergreen trees in the future in order to create more depth. But overall this was a fun one that I’m pleased with. Mom and her friend had a great time too!
