11x14 Oil on Canvas Board. This is #20 in the new Joy of Painting - I'm 1/3 of the way thru the book! I found this on challenging because I thought Bob's use of color was a bit like the 70s - too strong. So I toned down the background and used gray in the flowers and grasses. Not sure I got all the values 100% because it looks better (to me) up close than far away-- that might indicate larger value patterns are off. It's a learning process.

Looks good. I think its good to do your own thing Rebecca. You try something and if it doesnt work you change it and you learn. I like your style.
