A redo, with wood effect this time. I assume the linseed oil was already drying when putting in the turpentine, because the effect was not so overwhelming. I enjoyed doing the little scene between the 'wooden' panels, tapping in clouds always does not disappoint me. The black borders were a bit smaller then the tape, I discovered when taking it off, so I have to finish these when dry with a fineliner. On blank thick wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm.
Really nice Jos. The "wood" looks like walnut, gorgeous!
Superb!
Thank you very much Rebecca. Helen (glad you like the walnut-wood lol) and Stephanie!
Oh wow, this is outstanding! So sharp and serene. I am almost there myself!

This is lovely - great sense of depth with the distant mountain fading into sky and the bushes up front more vividly detailed. Love it.
