12x16 - Oil on Canvas Board. I like that this one reminds me of folk art... that and Missouri has a lot of old shacks - so its like a scene that could be down the road. I wouldn't have picked this one but I'm going thru the New Joy of Painting in order and it's number 26. The only hard part is the building. I had trouble with the shingles and scraped the house - used paper towels to get as much of the paint off as possible and started the house over. Time to make friends with the palette knife! Its okay and good practice to start over sometimes. After all that, I am happy with the way this one turned out.

My knife and I hated each other for 5 years, I think it's the most difficult of tools to work with. Surprisingly I enjoyed Bob's knife only paintings, you might want to try one, it might help. Your little house looks good.
