Looks great Helen, i'm guilty of being a little colour shy too. I work on the principle that if it wouldn't be seen in nature than it shouldn't be seen on a canvas . This looks well balanced, the clear stream looks really nice

Thank you Aron and Kerri, the rocks under the water were super-easy and fun to do. I'm surprised Bob used this technique in only one of his paintings, unless I've missed something.

Thanks tel, I know what you mean but nature can surprise you. I've seen some incredible skies over the Irish sea that don't seem real as the cloud formations at sunset in autumn look like landscape scenes. A few months ago I saw my first green sky and it wasn't the northern lights. Nature fascinates me.
