This is the fourth painting I did with Bob Ross and my boyfriend. This time and for the first time I used only oil paints and my god: it made a WORLD of a difference and I finally understand the hype around them. The colours were sooo much easier to blend and the whole experience was just a lot more joyful. I had a really fun time painting it and am excited for the next one. It really, really helped to use a lot of oil with the highlight colours - something I don't think Bob stresses enough in his videos and something I was made aware of by my boyfriend. I am happy.

Amazing work Schatz! Such a serene scene and you created such a variety of colours! The deep reds work very very well in the setting. And the mountain is also very very stylish. I'm a fan!
