I think the water in the original was intended to be more active, with a stronger current, but I preferred it to be a little more calm in my version. I'm not sure why.

There is a moodiness that is present in all your painting that I absolutely love. I could only hope I can paint like this one day.

@Gangi - I see you are off to a good start with Grandeur of Summer, which is the same Bob Ross painting I started with. I think all you need to do to develop your style just keep painting! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
I imagine Bob has a thawing snow covered mountain just off canvas to create that rush in the water. I think you were right with your calmer water as your colour choice is enough to hint at a trace of spring in keeping with your own style. Beautiful and mysterious as ever. I love it that you never copy Bob exactly, instead you stay true to yourself.
