For every one of these I upload, there are two or three that I don't complete. I'll start on one, then get hung up on some detail. Then it becomes a practice canvas focusing on whatever it is I'm not happy with today. It's a nice confidence boost to finish one every now and then. I chose this one specifically because it works with the colors in my office. And I love to fish. :)

This is really nice. I love the sun and reflections. Great feeling of looking done on the cabins as the sun is rising (in my mind).knowing the fishermen have already left to fish! Great job!

The first element that caught my eye was your lovely fisherman's cabins. Well done!
It's easy to get caught up on something that bothers us in our paintings (we're our own worst critics!). I always try to refocus on all of the small "wins" in a work instead. We're all lifelong students, who no doubt learn something new and valuable with each painting we create. :)
