I'm pretty new at this and thoroughly enjoying it. Having never done anything artistic before, it's almost hard to believe I can paint. I don't consider myself an artist or a painter yet I get a lot of compliments from family and friends and it's weird. I don't really know how to handle that.
This is the first one I've done with the intention of giving away. My best friend of 36 years asked for a small one to put in his camper. So this is on an 11"x14" canvas. I really like how it turned out. I think he will too.

I think this is fantastic! I too never painted until last year and don’t consider myself a painter. The fact is, as soon as you picked up the brush you became one. It is very weird when family and friends start complimenting my stuff. I just shake my head and say “ thank you!” Lol
