This painting was interesting and I learned how much I like painting in the mountains with grey and black gesso.

Thank you Dracula. At first I thought
it looked like a large explosion behind the mountains, but I grew to like it.
The way the light floods across the mountains is just lovely. And the tones in that central grassy area work really well too, great detail.
The varieties of foliage really help capture the viewer. Well done.

I had one place in my mind the second I saw this, namely 'Garden of Eden'. Superior colourhopping with bushes and trees, not to mention that very catching sky! Brilliant!
