Cactus at Sunset

Voy Kay 04 Jan 2020

Really wanted to try something very funny here. I had 15 minutes of free time so decided to freestyle paint this sunset and two cactusses. Only five colours of oil paint were used on a … 2"x2" canvas. Only used a very small filbert brush and a very thin script liner. Normally kids stuff but hey, Bob's does tell us to find different styles, yes?! Please enjoy and in the future, I hope to paint a more Bob Ross style 'cactus at sunset', no worries.

I think this is smallest of all paintings I have seen here.
Do you think you can do mountain landscape with the mountain on 3x4 or 3x5 inches? I am always equally amazed when people go to the small size like the opposite when they go to extra large size of canvas!

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

Dear Sunnylady, thank you for stopping by again! There is another here uploaded, forgot who and where, but there is one. It's just a funny thing to do but if you wanna get more serious, then check this out: https://imgur.com/gallery/8psZH1a/comment/653338925
There you can see that it is possible to get landscapes, mountain views etc... on a mini canvas. Soon, I will be taken another challenge on and that is a maxi canvas, 30"x46" with a winter landscape. Till next time!

Good luck with your huge project! That sounds fascinating! Looking forward to see it!

Thanks for sharing the link! It is impressive!
