I had a very difficult time with this, the first painting actually ran. I'm not sure if it was the liquid clear and a brush not totally dry, or heat near the painting. Any advice?

Love what you did with the soil and the grass! The big wave looks great!
It is a fact that paint thinner and liquid clear are very offensive/sensitive to each other. Your brushes need to be 100% clean AND dry with that clear!
