Painting attempt #10. I loved using the autumn colors in this one. .. and the distant snowy mountain kind of floats.

How did you get the colors to pop? I kept having trouble with everything turning brown-ish.
Hi Karen, well, this was painting #10 so about a year at this point. Bob always said it just takes a little practice. :)
Hi J, Try not to over mix your paints. If you want your colors to be brighter, make sure your brush is clean before you add reds or yellows. Don't worry about it though - I'm a mud mixer too! (as Bob would call us) It happens to everybody.
