‘Secluded Forest' was a pleasure to paint, I use acrylic paints so it was taking a lot of breaks to reflect on what I was doing. My background is black gesso that I let dry slowly before I started to do the white background. I did my water first to make is easy to put down the landscape of trees, small cliff and background bushes.
