Well this was an adventure, but I definitely feel like it was a huge learning experience. Not sure I'm a fan of painting with the knife but I think I'll be buying some smaller (and cheaper) canvases to dedicate them purely to practice. This painting involved a LOT of covering up mistakes and unsightly things, up to and including green clouds, magically extending cabin roofs (in trying and failing to get a straight edge), tilted pine trees and cabins, green-streaked reflections, and color combinations that cannot possibly exist in nature LOL
