Second version of this recreation but this time with a full blackened frame around the oval.

This one is definitely my preference Voy. Never did like the other frame when Bob did it, I find it rather odd. If using the other frame I would say it would need to be a much finer line about 3mm, and of equal thickness all the way around, especially if it's black which is a stark contrast with the white. Or better still, done in vignette always looks stylish.

Love the way this painting glows with the pink sky. The full black background is perfect effect.

And I agree TLP, that black frame from Bob was not his best invention! I am glad I did it though sincze I wanted to see the result!
