Frozen Beauty in Vignette

Voy Kay 25 Nov 2020

Probably another premiere for this website (I don't know for sure) where I painted Bob's creation on a piece of cardboard (7"x10") from a milk package as some sort of experiment and alternative for cotton canvasses. It was carefully prepared with liquid white and then painted in some 40 minutes.

Some remarks I want to share:
* This needs further preparation. I believe one tiny layer of liquid white is insufficient. It could use one or more layers of gesso first. But like I said, it was an experiment!
* The scriptliner is almost useless in here. Paint thinner will only help a very little.
* Knife work is very hard, since then the cardboard interior shows through.
* In the end, you will save money for not buying a canvas yet your good paint is gone since these cardboards won't last and are poor for display purposes.

Any (positive) comments are very welcomed!
