Very pleased with how these turned out. Second and third time painting. I’m pleased with the backgrounds, so easy and fun to make. Also recently saw an episode where Bob used liquid black to make branches— so much better in my opinion than adding thinner to black or brown oil paint. When I look at these trees, I feel like they are elegant ladies posing in evening dresses.

Wonderful background you created there as well as depth with your path and grass!
When I need to make thin lines I very often use linseed oil instead of thinner or mix where there is more oil than thinner. I feel that thinner cuts through too much.
