Blue Winter

Mbales 09 May 2019

Aside from a bit of snow on the evergreens, I tried to follow Bob pretty closely on this one.

There's an awesome sense of distance in this painting. I get the feeling that river winds back there at the base of those mountains and goes for many miles. The deep blue color of your water is really nice too. It might just be your camera catching light on your wet canvas when you too the picture, but it gives the illusion that there's a small shimmer of sunshine in that water. Great work!

This is great! How are you able to keep your snow so white without picking up the darker tones underneath?

crisp job , vedry cloise to the original
