I must also state here that the mountains are amongst my best ever but that darn camera never gives me a good picture! Trust me, they are really stunning in real!
The evergreens were really fastpainting! I painted those at speed, also the highlights and was really hampered by my paint location (living room) where it is almost impossible to paint with a shining afternoon sun. So in fact, did most evergreens halfblinded!!

Yes, this is the reason why we go to the museums to see real works as photo is a photo at the end of the day... When I travel to Europe I will visit your home museum for sure!

Het was mij serieus teveel geworden, ik ervaarde enkel nog druk en geen plezier meer aan schilderen. Een broodnodige stap terug dus en langzaam ben ik wel aan het herbronnen, er is terug een beetje honger. Het lichaam heeft nooit meegeholpen hierbij, maar liefst vier kwaaltjes de afgelopen 12 dagen, men zou voor minder! Nog even, en dan geraak ik er wel weer door.

I like composition here. This blue on the sky is great. Mountain contrasts very well against it. I think you greens are successful here. Very grassy color!
