I decided the leave the deciduous trees bare, considering the weather in this environment.

Good call leaving off the fence to nowhere, great liner work on the deciduous trees.

My goodness you are a superb artist!

Hi Dracula. This is another great masterpiece. May I ask a question- why did you do everything of two? Also quite a symmetrical composition. It looks very stable. Did you have any special thoughts when painted? I always admire how you process BR paintings I am really inspired by you to try to do the same.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate hearing what you think!

@SunnyLady - Honestly, this was just how I interpreted what I saw the painting in the book. Upon close examination, there are more tree trunks and trees and bushes and everything isn't technically split off into pairs as I have done. I think I was just operating on some kind of intuition. I will say, however, I was trying to preserve patches of that warm light on the snow, which probably influenced where and how I placed the trees.

Got it, thanks Dracula!

I find it astonishing how detailed your paintings always are.. Lovely!
