Great greenery! Any tips for us?

Fantastic. I love your work. Was this done on a black canvas?

Impressive painting - I really like the perspective.

We did this with the liquid black, but the first time I painted this one I used the black gesso so either way works. Also the first time I did this one I ended up with a purple mountain, this time i went with a softer blue. Grass and tree limbs just used the edge of the two inch brush

Beautiful painting! Awesome mountain, grassy land and stream! Nice and calm mood.

Was the whole canvas covered in Liquid Black? I'm curious, because whenever I start with a black canvas, and then add dark colors, I lose all visualization. Everything is just dark over black.

the liquid black was in a big "U" shape only covering the sides and the bottom. and liquid white where the mountain and foothills are

I can see where that portion of white (Liquid White) would set up a lighter background for those distant pines as well as the overhanging tree limbs on the sides. Then, start laying in the green grass over the black. Thanks, Shadowlink11. That helps.

Great evergreens and that stream is so alive.
