Mountain Hideaway

Mgiese84 09 Oct 2021

On this one instead of using the liquid black, as Bob did, I painted that area with black gesso. Then put liquid clear & phthalo green on top of that. It actually worked out very well as I was afraid using the liquid black might make it difficult to get the colors I wanted.

Argh. Liquid black. Your mountains are wonderful and look like a photo. Really like the rocks and colors too.

Another beauty! Love the vibrant colors!

Thanks Brian and Sandy. I definitely have gotten better at mountains and feel much more comfortable with them.

Really nice and wonderful colours as always. Your stone work is fantastic.

Thanks Birdyz and Tom. And Tom, I still have a long ways to go to finish the series. But I'll keep plugging away :-)

Such vibrant and crisp colors. Beautiful

Thanks Pam 🤙

In this one it appears that Bob was following your tutorial! The brightness of the colors and crisp details say Matt did this.

Lol thanks Brian! I didn't use the liquid black which helped keep it bright
