Deep Woods

Voy Kay 28 Apr 2021

Wanted to do a forest today and felt happy that Bob used freestyle again for this one.
Well, I made a mess of that initiative and can only hope these deep woods will be into any next virtual bushfires!

Canvas wasted was a budget 2USD 12"x16".

Have a look into my profile for older creations, dragons, happy surprises, .... thank you!

That small waterfall is great.

Haha "the canvas I wasted", you crack me up at times Voy. It doesn't look as bad as you think, in fact there is a lot of good stuff going on in this one. Sometimes we're just not happy with our own work are we but all it means is we know we can do better. I often feel like a singer who knows the words but can't hit the notes.

Thanks for your support Colin! Waterfall was perhaps the easiest in this painting and about the only thing that worked well.

Sorry TLP, I do not always look the words up, nor do I use a spell checker. Thanks for the hint!! English is only my fourth language so I try to keep up a certain level.

Strangely enough, I watched this whole episode about two weeks ago and thought that this would be an easy one to do. Today however, all brushes pointed out the wrong direction! Even my big trees want astray! Weird!

No voy you misunderstand me. Not your spelling that is funny, (spellings are not important) it's the word that's funny, when you said you wasted it, it made me laugh because it is something a comedian might say. Like saying "all brushes pointed out in the wrong direction" is so funny!

Oh, goodie! Sorry TLP, momentarely, my mind has more clouds then thunderstorms in the Azores!

I do write poetry, quotes, short stories and books, so my sentences can hold some snakeshaped expressions now and then, here and there, up and above, inside and out!

I am stunned that English is your 4th language Voy, I never would have guessed, well done, your understanding of the language is impressive.

That's a very nice compliment TLP, thank you for that.
I speak, read and write six languages (needed in a small country like mine) of which the first four very fluently.
I used to be a lot beter in English when I still was a worldwide hotel and airplane inspector. I retired from that in 2015. Since then, my English really has dropped several levels. I learned to live with it!

I know how you feel. Had a disaster with Ocean Sunrise. Yellow mixing with purple isn’t great! It’s nothing that a scrub down and a coat of black gesso won’t fix.

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

Hahaha, that's also my way of reycling!

Ocean sunrise is a very popular creation under Bob Ross fans worldwide, maybe because of the colouring. Why not have a second go Nathan?

Thanks for stopping by, tilll next one!

Love the dark atmosphere.

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

The atmosphere was indeed working Umagaan, the rest was just unattentive finishing!

Mgiese84 Cleanest Technique In The Game

I'd be very pleased with the results you had on this one. Definitely reminds me of the original

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

I must admit Matt, that it looked already a lot better some 20 hours after it was painted!
Thank you so much for your very nice compliment!
