I was not going for a super textured look, but lo and behold I absolutely love the finished look and texture! I also love working on the guest painters shows to find some new ways to work! It was stormy the day I painted this one as well, so that seemed to have reflected a little towards my overall feel on the piece. Standard 18”x24” canvas

The contrast between the clouds and the grass is super nice. Makes it look like the last rays of sun before a storm. Great work!
