I added some dinosaurs 🦕 for my nephew. Wanted to add lava but to nervous to do that since it has mostly dried by now

This is super-cute. I know what you mean, I don't like adding things later, but if you wait until it's properly dry you can add your lava then. And if you make a mistake or don't like it you should be able to remove it easily without spoiling your painting underneath. Go for it, an erupting volcano would look great here.
