Evening's Peace

flippergirlpaints 12 Aug 2021

I wanted to try a night time scene. It is a bit bluer in person, but not too blue. The sky got away from me a little so I lost some foreground but I do not think it is too noticeable. On my evergreen I tried Bob's "hangy-down" type branches this time.

Nice Pam. This was one of my first ones I did.

Thanks Matt. I would have liked to added a cool deer like yours, but I failed the "bravery test" LOL.

This is really nice. So few colors, but everything is sharp and clear.

One more thing, treat all your bushes like you did those background trees. Nice dark color underneath and you didn't overdo the highlights. Which like Bob says will cause them to look flat.
