I use strips of blue painter's tape instead of contact paper because I find it adheres a bit better. This was my first time using a comically wide 9" roll of tape, so it only takes two strips to make the oval template.
Great painting Dracula! Love the tall breakout evergreen. I have been trying to figure out how you do your mountains. Do you use a brush or knife? Or both? Concerning tape, I use duct tape as I can’t make blue painters tape stick. Lol

Just beautiful! Like a photo not a painting!
Awesomely done Dracula! Today I have discovered new name of modern artist. Jim Wilcox. He has such gorgeous paintings. Some of his works reminded me your love to details.
Love you color choices in your version and must in the foothills!
