The plan was actually a different one, not to bring this idea to the screen, but sometimes it happens differently than you think. So I started painting my idea of a swamp landscape with a few small extras. Somehow these paintings developed while painting. Certainly inspired by Bill Alexander, Bob Ross and Len Hend. I painted everything freehand and had to be hellishly careful with the small format. I needed magnifying glasses because the fisherman is just 1 cm (0,393 Inch) tall and it was really exhausting, just on the basis of a few photos. I had to paint it in three stages due to small time windows. Background / swamp, airboat and the fisherman. Maybe I'll work on a few little things, but otherwise I'm happy with it.Now it's up to you to decide if you like it.

Wow bro the background vegetation looks amazing, love the cypress trees and stumps too! The star of this show is the airboat and fisherman though. On a 9.5x11.8 canvas as well, awesomely done my friend! 👍🇺🇸🇩🇪
