I finally have completed my Sourthern life collection paintings with this one. It took me a while to finish it since I have engineered a few fun elements into it.
First, I have glued on the canvas some fake lemons , leaves, flowers & butterfly. I wanted to bring a real 3D effect from this painting (see picture)
Second, I have included a hidden sign in the opening of the fence. If a light is shone behind the canvas, we see something that cannot be seen other ways. Also, the southern house, lemons, part of the fence and some leaves are glowing too (see pictures).
I had a lot of fun making this one. It took me a while to put together. I was also working on my art business, website and my pop-up tent to start doing art shows in the fall. Most of it is done but I still have a few things to make happen. I hope to be able to paint more frequently after all of this.

A fabulous art/craft combo, beautifully done. A great way to expand your skills and create unique pieces. I've been crafting for decades and trust me, its limited only by your imagination!

Very creative with the 3D lemons (they blend in very well on that first photo) and hidden stuff.
This is beautiful. Your 3D effect worked out beautifully and the secret sign, wow! The rustic frame sets it off.
