Here are all the paintings we did. I included the practice ones too (I would paint my own version, at home at night, of what we have learned that day to get a better grasp of the technique).
Floral is VERY different than landscape. It’s total reverse of it. We start with our thinnest paint (soup texture), then add a “smooth, satiny, silky” layer over that one to sculpt our floral, and finally, our “dry” paint to highlight some part of the flower. Above is “Red Poppies in a Clay Pot” (Annette Kowaski) from day 3.
I have learned tons. I think I almost like it better than landscape. 😁 You’ll def see more flowers from me in the future.

5 is my favourite. Maybe because we have these a lot here in Latvia so my eye sticks to them. Lovely.
