I thought this was a beautiful & very interesting composition. I learned more little more about watercolors (and shadows).
I had to fix a boo-boo… not easy with this medium. But I was really determined to make it the way I was expecting the painting to look like. I am happy with the outcome.
Just like with oils, when mixing phthalo blue and umber, you get green. Peter Sheeler has it more blue-ish gray. I’ll know better to use a different mix of colors to get the right color. 😉
