Serenity Glow • NTZ

Ninoum 23 Feb 2024

Sometimes, less is more. I think this painting reflects well this concept. So for my 300th, I wanted to have 3 of my fav elements… 1) Glow 2) Orange 3) the oak tree in Bob’s “Serenity” (my fav painting of Bob).

It was hard to bring the painting to the way it looks in real. This is the best I could do. The upper left corner should be darker. I couldn’t get the reflection out even with a very low lighting setup..

If you make it bigger, you should be able to see all the little light reflection on the tiny branches. Not all of them gets one… 😉

Wonderful work Nancy. Super glow👍🏼🇩🇪Greetings from Germany, my friend

Beautiful work and congrats on #300 Ninoum!

I love all the detail and highlights in the trunk and limbs, and the glowing background is beautiful!

Killer! That is spectacular work, and I love the perspective in this . . . it's like I'm standing at the foot of this mighty tree, gazing upwards. Props for all those sticks and twigs.

I would say it was perfect but you probably still want to do more to it. I love the highlighting on the small twigs and branches.

Looking great, Nancy!
The glow on the larger and small branches really makes the sun zing through.
And I agree with Chris, the perspective is great. It does indeed look as if we are standing at the foot of this tree, looking up. <3

WOW, this is so well painted Nancy, job well done. Congrats on your 300th. Cheers

Great job!
