Winter Pastel β€’ Robert Warren

Ninoum 26 Mar 2024

I decided to hangout with Robert today. 😁 I just loved how this one looked like. I thought it would be a piece of cake to do, but it has a nice little spicy challenge to it. I did learned a couple things doing his tute. I made my snow with the knife. Robert uses the badger brush all the time and in all of his videos. It’s great for blending and gives that really amazing smooth look, but it’s also super tricky when you’re not used to it. Def a brush that I have to make good friend with.

Looking really good Nancy. <3

The colours are awesome imho. The warm browns provide contrast and make the whole scene look like it is late afternoon. Kinda cozy even though there's lots of snow.

Another wonderful painting! Love it!

Your buildings are always so perfect. I bet nature gets jealous.

Like the wood on the Barn.

Warm and welcoming. Love the snow and grassy areas.

Beautifully painted Nancy, great result, cheers

Love this one Nancy. The simplicity of the scene really stands out. You have become friends with Robert :)

Great job, I have the book tutorial as well for this episode.

Thank you very much Titia! Those colors are def a great match!

Awww! Thank you Sandy! 😊

Omg Bob! You are so funny! Love the creativity in your comment! And thank you much! β˜€οΈ

Thx Daddio. Not hard at all to make it look this way. You put your dark brown eaves and with your light brown color, you pull down with a badger brush (it looks like a floral brush...I used a 1/2"), and those nice vertical wooden panels will be formed!

Thank you Jon! Glad you like! πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you much Dave! β˜€οΈ
