Distant Mountains

Voy Kay 07 Dec 2021

7th of December has a special meaning to me and it is the anniversary of my Bob Ross adventure. It started in 2019 and I painted 'Distant mountains', to be found here: https://www.twoinchbrush.com/fanpaintings/2096

Last year I repainted 'Distant mountains' and had the following result:

Today I painted it a third time, only now on a big canvas.
The canvas used was a budget quality 24"x32" and took some two hours (never really relaxed and too much in a hurry).
Maybe the latter is the reason I had a poor result with it, specially the bushes (normally a forté) went astray in a puddle of mud.

Ah well, better luck, or let's say, better skills next year?

Second picture shows some of the size of that thing. Read the article pls!

ONE DAY LATER, I slightly upgraded this and tempered some of the mountain snow and added a dead tree in the front!
