Teton Winter

lazerwulf 18 Jun 2023

I didn’t want as icy of a painting, so I toned down the blue and added a touch more crimson to the sky. I also skipped the cabin and underpainted “the indication of” a castle in gray and black acrylics.

I had a lot of fun working on my knife mountains and doing the liner brush work in the trees and bushes.

My favorite part is the little path that leads you into the forest and ever closer to the enormous castle.

Very nice LW. I really like the foreground work.

Great composition. That path is intriguing.

Love it

Nice variation!
