Storm's A Comin

Ninoum 25 Mar 2024

I went with a loose oval. I really didn’t feel cutting one up. Lol! Since a storm is coming, an electric friend made its way to the scene. ⚑️

This is lovely in so many ways! I've always fancied having a go at lightening. You realise I'm going to have to do it now don't you, haha.

Hey my friend, this is super . The color of the water is the hammer. And the flashes fit perfectly into this scene. Top paintedπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

And the lightning is a very nice addition to this stormy scene.

i am in awe of the glow coming from within the water! simply breathtaking.

Amazing work! I cant get over how good this is. wonderful job!

Great work.

Stunning job Nancy. I just can't get a wave to look right. I thinner wiped 2 canvases in March trying to do my first wave painting. They were horrible. rubbed out 2 attempts this month with thinner. Wasted several days trying and put me in a paiters funk for a couple days LOL. Anyways, enough about my wave misery. You did a fantastic job as always. I want to paint like you when I grow up LOLOL (I'm 67 so not sure I'll ever grow up LOL ).

Sorry about the typos. I swear, I am not drunk even though I type like I am LOL.

I love the additional flash!

Thank you so very much Titia! I always wanted to paint a lightening bolt! This was my chance. ⚑️

Thank you Daddio! β˜€οΈ

Oh no Tony!!! So sorry to hear you are really struggling with your wave. Here's a trick I used to do at the very beginning. I printed out the wave to the appropriate size and transfer it on my canvas with graphite paper. Eventually, I got the hang of it and no longer need to do it this way. But if I can help you some more, here is my email: nancy.t.zimmerman@gmail.com . It will be an immence pleasure to help out so you can get over the hump! πŸ˜ƒ

Bahahaha! Tony, I didn't even notice. I must be the one that is drunk!!! πŸ˜‚

Thank you super much Tom! Glad you likey! ⚑️
