Okay... so this was my first wet-on-wet attempt. I'm much happier with how it came out than I expected to be, but I clearly have a lot to work on. I really struggled to get the paint to come off the brush, particularly when highlighting. It seemed like more paint was coming off the canvas onto the brush than the other way around.
Clearly need some work on clouds.

Hang in there. One trick is after you put the liquid white on, wipe it off with a paper towel. It’ll leave the canvas just right and ready to pull the paint off your brush!
