Wanted a bright summer day feel instead of the evening sky. Omitted the building since it's not my thing. But otherwise, I can't put my finger on what I'm not happy with this painting. Composition? Color? Depth?

@dracula, thank you! I think there's not a great transition between the mountain and the forest. I'll be looking into other paintings to see how I can fix it to my liking.
Your mountain and waterfall are super. The shape of the lake is a bit confusing to my eye. The tree in the foreground doesn't seem to be reflecting light.
@jgoldes - that darned foreground tree!!! I have redone that foreground tree 10 times now. Lol. It's been a learning experience adding depth and shadows to a white canvas.
I've settled on an OK version of it. I'll try to upload the new version!

I'm not sure what you don't like in the painting, but the mountain is superb! Excellent depth, shape, and color!
