A first Bob recreation after my painting comeback. I choose this one because Bob says several times it is a very simple painting.
Well after having done it, I can't say anything is simple here. The layering is extremely tricky because of the chosen colors, phtalo blue and the opaque red can make the background very dark very fast. Then dept is totally lost. The technique Bob uses for the background trees is also not my favorite, and I think he only used it in season 17
Further challenge was that I used a 40 x 30 cm canvas only. With the cut out oval only 30 x 20 cm are left and this is a bit small for those brushes I have.
