This is my attempt at Horizons West. This is on a 16"x20" canvas. I really like how the sky turned out in this one, and the steep part of the mountains is nice too. I'm at the point where I'm starting to understand what I'm doing instead of simply trying to follow along with a video. The golden rule is starting to become natural to me. Thin paint sticks to thick. It makes sense now.
