Golden Glow

Voy Kay 27 Dec 2019

My 11th painting Bob Ross style in 3 weeks time. Gosh, today was a HAPPY day since about everything worked out on this painting. I changed from canvas supplier (now a more expensive one) and that really paid off. Canvas was a 16 x 20".
The most fun to do was the sky and the big trees, although I did not put snow leaves on them in the end since my family (myself included) totally objected to that. They find the dead trees better for this kind of golden painting. Also the cabin was left out since I wanted this to be a landscape full at peace, no human evidence around. Worst were the highlights on the bushes were I still have lots of troubles with. So it's more mud then leaves yet I don't mind that very much. Unfortunately the picture is showing the painting more darkened then in reality. I think this is about my best one yet so far, hungry for more still this year!
